Easy Cheesy Alfredo Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tablespoons butter
    4 ounces low-fat cream cheese
    1 garlic clove, minced
    1 cup 1% low-fat milk
    1 cup fresh parmesan cheese
    ground black pepper
    1 dash nutmeg
Preparation
    Melt butter over med. heat and saute garlic for 1 minute. Add cream cheese and stir until melted. Add milk slowly while whisking until smooth. Add parmesan cheese, whisk until melted. Add nutmeg and ground pepper. Stir. Pour over approximately 1/2 lb pasta, cooked.
