Creamed Peas And New Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb tiny new potatoes
1 1/2 cups peas
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1 tablespoon margarine
1 tablespoon flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 dash pepper
1 cup milk
Preparation

Scrub potatoes, and cut any large ones in half.
In a medium sauce pan, cook potatoes in a small amount of boiling salted water for 10 minutes.
Add peas and cook 5 to 10 minutes more. Drain.
In same sauce pan, melt margarine over medium high heat and cook onion until tender.
Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
Add milk all at once. Cook and stir until thickened.
Cook and stir 1 minute more, then add potatoes and peas. Heat through.
