Apple-Cheddar Salad With Sweet Cream Vinaigrette - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup pecan halves
    1 tablespoon unsalted butter
    1 tablespoon sugar
    1 pinch salt
    1/4 cup white wine vinegar
    1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
    2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
    1 tablespoon sugar
    1 tablespoon salt
    1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
    1/2 cup heavy cream
    1 braeburn apple, cored and sliced
    1 (10 ounce) bag mixed salad greens
    3 ounces sharp white cheddar cheese, shaved
Preparation
    Toast pecans in butter, sugar and salt in a small saute pan over medium heat for about 3 minutes, set aside.
    Combine the White Wine Vinegar, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Chives, Sugar, Salt, Red Pepper, Whisk in Heavy Cream (do not whip). Set aside.
    Toss together Salad Mix, Apple, Sugared Pecans, and about 1/3 cup of Vinaigrette.
    Garnish with shaved White Cheddar Cheese.
    Serve remaining Vinaigrette on the side with the salad.
