Green Crab Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 tablespoons olive oil
    1/4 cup onion, chopped
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    1 cup asparagus, chopped
    3 cups Baby Spinach
    1 teaspoon thyme
    1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
    2 cups chicken broth
    1 cup water
    1 cup cooked crab meat
    salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation
    Heat the olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic and cook until soft.
    Add the asparagus, spinach, thyme and red pepper flakes and cook for 1 minute.
    Add the chicken broth and water. Stir well.
    Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
    Transfer to a blender and blend until smooth and transfer back to pot.
    Stir in the crabmeat and simmer until heated through.
