Made From Scratch Pizza - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    Pizza Sauce
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    1 tablespoon butter
    1 tablespoon onion powder
    2 tablespoons dried celery flakes
    1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
    2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
    1 teaspoon dried basil
    1 teaspoon dried oregano
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon sugar
    1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    1 small bay leaf
    Pizza Crust
    2 1/2 teaspoons yeast
    1 1/2 cups warm water
    1 1/2 teaspoons salt
    3 tablespoons oil
    1 tablespoon sugar
    2 cups white flour
    2 cups whole wheat flour
Preparation
For the pizza sauce: Combine all in a saucepan. Heat until boiling. Bring heat down to simmer and simmer for about 30 minutes for the flavors to combine. Discard bay leaf.
    For the crust:
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
If you have a bread machine, just add all the ingredients and use the dough function.
Manual method: Mix yeast with warm water. Let sit for 5 minutes. Combine flours, salt, oil, sugar, and yeast mixed with water. Knead about 8-10 times until the dough is like elastic. Let rise in a greased bowl for about and hour to an hour and a half (dough should double).
Bread machine/manual method: Punch down dough and divide in half to create to pizzas. Roll out on floured surface, place dough on pizza pan and let rise another 15 minutes. Place crust in oven and cook for 5 minutes. Take out crust and add toppings. Place pizza back in oven and cook an additional 15-20 minutes.
Whole wheat flour is optional, you can use all white flour.
