2 tablespoons dark rum or 2 teaspoons rum flavoring
1 egg, at room temperature
2 teaspoons mccormick ground roasted ginger
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Frosting
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup dark rum
2 egg whites
3 inches knob ginger, sliced
1 pinch salt
