Pear Relish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

18 large hard pears
18 bell peppers (use all colors)
3 cups sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
3 pints vinegar
5 large onions (mix white and red)
green hot pepper
red hot pepper
Preparation

Chop all ingredients.
Cook until tender.
Pour into heated jars.
Clean rims of jars and place lids and rings on jars and tighten.
Process in hot water bath.
Remove from heat and tighten rings again.
Set out and allow to cool completely before storing.
