Fudgy Chocolate Butterscotch Cupcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup unsweetened applesauce
    1/4 cup white sugar (splenda) or 1/4 cup sugar substitute (splenda)
    2 tablespoons brown sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1 egg
    3/4 cup whole wheat flour
    1/3 cup cocoa powder (Hershey's 100% Cocoa Special Dark)
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 dash salt
    1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/2 cup butterscotch chips
Preparation
    Fill cupcake tin with cupcake liners. Preheat over to 350\u00b0F.
    Mix apple sauce, sugars, vanilla, beat in egg.
    In a separate bowl mix flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon.
    Add flour mixture to wet mixture a little at a time, stir in butterscotch chips.
    Spoon batter into cupcake liners.
    Bake for about 20 minutes or until tops are firm to touch.
    Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
