Hot Chicken Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups cooked chicken, chopped
    8 ounces water chestnuts, chopped
    1 cup celery, chopped
    1/2 cup sliced almonds, toasted
    2 ounces pimientos, chopped
    1 tablespoon onion, minced
    1 cup mayonnaise
    2 teaspoons lemon juice
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/8 teaspoon pepper
    8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 1/3 cups French fried onion rings
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    In a large bowl, add chicken, water chestnuts, celery, almonds, pimentos and onion.
    In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
    Combine chicken and vegetables with the mayonnaise mixture and pour into a 2qt. baking dish.
    Sprinkle cheese and onion rings on top.
    Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
    Serve hot.
