Turkey Sausage Jambalaya - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 ounces turkey sausage, cut 1/4 inch thick
    12 ounces boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch strips
    1 green pepper, sliced
    1 red pepper, sliced
    1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes
    1 cup instant brown rice, uncooked
    1/2 cup chicken broth
    1 bunch green onion, diced
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
Preparation
    In a large skillet, heat sausage, garlic, and peppers until tender.
    Add remaining ingredients (except for green onions) and heat to boiling.
    Reduce heat to low, cover pan and simmer for 10 minutes or until rice is tender.
    Remove from heat and stir in green onions before serving.
