Sweet & Sour Asparagus - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb asparagus, steamed for 8 minutes
1/4 cup lite olive oil or 1/4 cup virgin olive oil, if you prefer
3/4 cup vinegar
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
3 cinnamon sticks
1 teaspoon whole cloves
1 teaspoon celery salt
1/4 teaspoon salt
lettuce leaf (optional)
Preparation

Combine all the ingredients (except asparagus) in a saucepan bring to a boil.
Pour over the asparagus and refrigerate for 24 hours Serve on lettuce leaves (Optional).
