Chicken Marrakesh - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 onion, sliced
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    2 large carrots, diced
    2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and diced
    15 ounces garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
    4 chicken breasts, cut into 2 inch pieces
    1/2 teaspoon turmeric
    1/2 teaspoon cumin
    1/2 teaspoon pepper
    1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
    14 1/2 ounces chopped tomatoes
Preparation
    combine first 6 ingredients into slow cooker.
    mix spices and sprinkle over the food, add tomatoes.
    cover and cook on high 4 hours.
