Chocolate Baked Buttermilk Donuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups cake flour
    1 cup Dutch-processed cocoa powder
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1 teaspoon salt
    3/4 cup buttermilk
    2 eggs
    2 tablespoons melted butter
    1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0F Grease and flour pan. Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, nutmeg, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Stir in buttermilk, eggs, butter and vanilla; beat until just combined. Fill each well 2/3 full. Bake 10-12 minutes, until the top of the donuts spring back when lightly touched. Cool 5 minutes in pan; invert onto cooling rack and cool completely. Glaze and decorate if desired.
