Tomato-Basil Orzo Soup - cooking recipe

1/2 cup chopped carrot
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/8 teaspoon dried basil
1/8 teaspoon dried oregano
1/8 teaspoon dried thyme
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 (19 ounce) can progresso tomato basil soup
1 cup chicken broth
1/3 cup uncooked orzo pasta
Preparation

In a small saucepan, saute the carrot, celery, onion, basil, oregano, and thyme in oil for 8-10 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
Add in the soup and broth; bring to a boil.
Stir in orzo; decrease heat; simmer, uncovered, for 10-12 minutes or until orzo and vegetables are tender.
Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper, if needed.
