Christy'S Meatballs Or Meatloaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    Meatballs
    1 lb ground beef (use very lean beef)
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1/4 cup breadcrumbs
    2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
    2 tablespoons milk
    2 teaspoons mustard
    1 1/2 teaspoons garlic, minced
    1/2 teaspoon basil
    1/2 teaspoon oregano
    1/2 teaspoon parsley
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    1/4 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
    2 teaspoons oil
    2 teaspoons butter
    Sauce
    1 cup ketchup
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1 teaspoon garlic, minced
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    1 teaspoon salt
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
    Mix all the meatball ingredients in a large bowl and shape into 1-inch balls. Fry until brown in the oil and butter. Drain off the grease and place meatballs on paper towels.
    Place meatballs in a 2-qt. baking dish.
    In a small bowl, combine sauce ingredients. Pour over meatballs.
    Bake for 20 minutes.
    For a meatloaf, mix the meat and form into a loaf in a baking dish. Bake for 45 minutes. Remove from the oven and top with the sauce. Return to the oven for 15-20 minutes or until the sauce looks bubbly.
