Shine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 ounce unflavored gelatin
    2 ounces water
    10 ounces sugar
    10 ounces corn syrup
    8 8 ounces ground peaches or 8 ounces apricots, pulp
Preparation
    Soak gelatin in cold water. Heat sugar, syrup and water to a boil. Add soaked gelatin and stir until dissolved. Use hot.
    Brush on coffee cakes as they come from the oven.
