Ingredients

1 slice bread, thickly cut
250 ml milk
3 eggs
1 onion, grated
1 1/2 cups cheese, grated
2 teaspoons mustard
salt
pepper
10 ml melted margarine
1 cup bacon, fried and chopped
Preparation

Mix milk and melted margarine, pour over the bread, allow to stand for 1/2 hour. Mash well, add bacon, onion, cheese, mustard, salt and pepper, mix together. Then add beaten eggs.
Pour into greased pie dish, bake at 190 degrees for around 30 minutes.
Serve with a green salad.
