Simple Party Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 -10 medium white potatoes
    1/2 cup water, reserved
    8 ounces cream cheese
    8 ounces French onion dip
    1 1/2 teaspoons salt
    1/8 teaspoon pepper
    1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
    margarine, to dot
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F.
    Cook potatoes.
    Drain, reserving 1/2 cup of liquid.
    Add liquid and remaining ingredients.
    Beat until smooth.
    Pour potatoes into a casserole dish.
    Dot with margarine and bake at 350\u00b0F for 15 minutes.
