Apricot Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (18 ounce) jar smuckers apricot preserves (or the flavor you prefer)
    1 cup sugar
    3/4 cup butter
    2 cups flour
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1 1/2 cups flaked coconut
    1/2 cup chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add remaining ingredients except the preserves.
    Press 3/4 of this mixture into the bottom of a greased 13x9 pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Spread preserves on top.
    Crumble remaining crumb mixture over the fruit.
    Bake for 20 more minutes.
