Tomato Ham Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 teaspoons olive oil
    1 package coleslaw mix
    1 vidalia onion, diced
    4 shallots, sliced
    1 (46 ounce) can tomato juice
    1 (14 ounce) can hunts diced garlic balsamic & olive oil diced tomatoes
    4 cups water
    1 tablespoon sugar
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
    3 cups chopped ham
    1 tablespoon chili paste
Preparation
    cook cabbage,onions,shallots in olive oil, till limp.
    add juice,tomatoes,water,sugar,lemon\bi\u0018\b juice,salt and pepper.
    add chili sauce.
    simmer 1 hour.
    add ham in last 15 minutes of cooking.
