Shortbread Stars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 ounces unsalted butter, room temperature
    2 cups all-purpose flour
    3/4 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter 3-5 min until fluffy.
    add sugar and beat 2 min.
    add vanilla.
    add flour and salt and combine on low speed.
    chill 60 min.
    roll out to 1/4 \" thickness and cut into stars.
    bake at 325 for 18-20 min.
    once cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
