Dressed Up Black Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 teaspoon olive oil
    1 onion, sliced
    15 ounces black beans, not drained (1 can)
    1/2 teaspoon ground cumin, chili powder or 1/2 teaspoon a few shakes red pepper flakes
Preparation
    Heat the oil in a frying pan while you peel and slice the onion. Cook the onion very slowly until brown and caramelized.
    Add the beans and the flavorings of your choice.
    Simmer until the liquid is mostly evaporated.
