Agua Fresca - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 ripe cantaloupe, peeled, seeded and diced
    2 quarts cold water
    1/2 cup sugar
Preparation
    Mash the melon. If using a blender, add just enough water to blend into a coarse pulp.
    Put the pulp in a pitcher. Add the water and the sugar.
    Stir vigorously to dissolve the sweetener. Serve chilled.
