Curry Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    brine
    1 cup kosher salt
    4 cups water
    1 cup vinegar
    12 cucumbers, sliced thin
    sauce
    2 cups vinegar
    2 cups water
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    2 teaspoons celery seeds
    1 teaspoon dry mustard
    1 teaspoon dry ginger
    1/2 teaspoon turmeric
    1/2 teaspoon curry powder
Preparation
    brine the pickles over night
    drain.
    pack pickles in hot sterilized quart jars
    pour sauce over them seal.
    if ball says water bath do it.
