Ingredients

1/2 cup shortening
1 1/3 cups light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups self rising flour
1 cup corn flakes, crushed
1 1/2 cups pecans, chopped
Preparation

Cream together shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients and mix well. Roll into 2 inch balls.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 9-11 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
