Sandy'S Baked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb dried navy beans
    4 tablespoons onions, cut fine or minced
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/3 lb bacon, raw,chopped
    3/8 cup sugar
    3/8 cup light brown sugar
    3/8 teaspoon dried mustard
Preparation
    Wash the beans and soak overnight.
    On the stove, simmer 6 cups of water, beans, salt, and onion for 20 minutes.
    Remove from stove and add the remaining ingredients.
    Bake in covered casserole at 325, or in crockpot on low, for 6-8 hours.
    Check periodically and add liquid if necessary.
    These are good served either hot or cold.
