Caramel Coated Walnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 cups walnuts
    1 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup margarine
    1/4 cup white corn syrup
    1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Preparation
    Mix together brown sugar, margarine, white corn syrup, cream of tartar, and salt.
    Bring to a boil for 3 minutes stirring often. Remove from heat.
    Add baking soda and stir well until settles.
    Pour over walnuts and stir until well coated.
    Pour into a large pan. Bake at 200 degrees for 1 1/2 hours, stirring every 15 minutes.
