Hearty Bacon Potato Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
    2 cups red potatoes, cubed
    1 cup onion, chopped
    1 cup sour cream
    1 1/4 cups milk
    1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
    8 ounces whole kernel corn, drained
    1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    1/4 teaspoon thyme leaves
Preparation
    in 3 quart saucepan cook bacon over medium heat for 5 minutes, add potatoes and onions, continue cooking stirring often until potatoes are tender about 15 to 20 minutes.
    add remaining ingredients and continue cooking until heated through about 10 to 12 minutes.
