Queso - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb American cheese
1 (16 ounce) jar on the border salsa, medium
1/2 - 3/4 cup skim milk
1 tablespoon cilantro
1 tablespoon ground cumin
2 teaspoons parsley
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon goya brand adobo seasoning, the with pepper blend
Preparation

Cube cheese. (I usually break a stack of several slices into quarters.).
Combine salsa, cheese, and milk in a microwave safe container.
Microwave on high for two minutes.
Stir to blend. Then stir in spices.
Microwave on high until heated thoroughly, about ten minutes, stirring ever minute or so.
Serve hot with tortilla chips.
