Simple Hamburger Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb hamburger
    1 quart tomatoes
    1/2 teaspoon thyme
    1 (14 ounce) can carrots, peeled and cut-up or 4 fresh carrots
    1 cup celery
    1 onion
    1/2 teaspoon basil
    1 bay leaf
    1 (8 3/4 ounce) can corn
    1 cup potato, diced
Preparation
    Brown beef and onion.
    Drain.
    Combine everything in a large pot and simmer for about an hour.
    Good soup to use leftovers in - beans, zucchini, etc. Very good the next day.
