Salmon With Avocado Mayonnaise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tablespoon brown sugar
    2 teaspoons paprika
    1 1/2 teaspoons salt
    1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
    1/2 teaspoon chili powder
    1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    6 (8 ounce) salmon fillets
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    1 ripe avocado, peeled and cubed
    2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
    5 tablespoons mayonnaise
Preparation
    In a small bowl, add the first 6 ingredients; stir to combine, then set aside.
    Rinse the salmon fillets and pat dry.
    Put the salmon, skin side down in a broiler pan.
    Brush each fillet with 1 teaspoon oil.
    Sprinkle the fillets evenly with the brown sugar mixture.
    Broil about 5 inches from heat source for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until brown sugar mixture begins to carmelize.
    Lower oven temperature to 425 degrees and bake 8-12 minutes or until fish flakes.
    In a small bowl, mash the avocado until mostly smooth.
    Add in the lemon juice; stir to combine.
    Whisk in the mayonnaise until smooth.
    Cover and chill until ready to serve.
    Serve with the salmon fillets.
