Lillian Helman'S Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lbs beef roast
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 package dry onion soup mix
    1 large chopped onion
    3 cloves garlic
    2 cups red wine
    1 crushed bay leaf
    1 teaspoon dried basil
    1 teaspoon dried thyme
Preparation
    Cover and bake in a 350 oven until tender 3 1/2 hours, or so.
