Ingredients

2 cups butter
2 cups sugar
4 cups flour, sifted
4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon clove
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup nuts, chopped
Preparation

Cream butter with sugar.
Sift dry ingredients together and add alternatively with the sour cream to the creamed mixture.
Add nuts.
Knead together well; shape into a loaf, wrap in waxed paper and chill in the refrigerator overnight.
Preheat oven to 400\u00b0F.
Slice and bake approximately 8 minutes until lightly browned.
