"Salisbury" Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb hamburger
    1 teaspoon onion, finely chopped
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon pepper
    2 tablespoons nonfat milk
    optional
    Cream Gravy made with 1/2 cup Creamy Gravy Mix
    parsley
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients and form into patties.
    Brown under medium Broiler flame for about 10 minutes, turning once, or cook in a hot skillet, turning frequently. (Broiling will make slightly patties less \"fat\".).
    In medium mixing bowl combine powdered milk, flour, and salt. Cut in butter.
    until crumbly.
    In saucepan, combine 1/2 cup Creamy Gravy Mix to make Medium White Sauce to which additional finely chopped browned onions have been added.
    NOTE: Creamy Gravy Mix
    Recipe Makes 3 cups of mix, uses only 1/2 cup).
    1 1/3 cup Non Fat Dry Milk Powder.
    3/4 cup All-Purpose Flour.
    1 teaspoon salt.
    1/2 cup Butter (I use Brummel and Brown yogurt butter).
    Serve Salisbury Patties topped with Creamy Gravy, sprinkled with optional Parsley.
