Heavenly Caramel Dip For Apple Slices - cooking recipe

18 caramels, unwrapped
60 ml water
224 g cream cheese
110 g brown sugar (can be lessened for less sweetness)
1 drop vanilla essence
Preparation

In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, or in the microwave, melt caramels with water, stirring frequently, until all lumps dissolved. Remove from heat.
In a medium bowl, cream together cream cheese and sugar. Fold in caramel mixture.
Can serve straight away or keep in the refrigerator for up to two days.
