Quick Barley Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup beef stock
    1 garlic clove, minced
    1 cup assorted fresh vegetable
    1 scallion, minced
    1 bay leaf
    black pepper, to taste
    1 tablespoon pearl barley
Preparation
    In a small saucepan combine the beef stock, garlic and vegetables. scallion, bay leaf, pepper and barley.
    Simmer until barley is tender, about 15 minutes.
