Threadgill’S Okra And Tomatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 lb bacon, diced
1 cup yellow onion, diced
2 cups tomatoes, diced
1/2 lb frozen cut okra
2 cups tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons black pepper
1 -2 cup corn kernel (optional)
Preparation

SAUTE DICED BACON, add onion, and continue cooking. Add all other ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and stew, stirring occasionally, for 45 minutes or until okra is tender. Makes 10 big servings.
