Kielbasa And Pasta Primavera Recipe - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb uncooked whole wheat linguine
1 lb kielbasa (cut 1/2 inch thick)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 green bell pepper (cut into thin strips)
1 yellow bell pepper (cut into thin strips)
1 red bell pepper (cut into thin strips)
1 onion (chopped)
1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 1/2 teaspoons cayenne pepper or 1 1/2 teaspoons ground red pepper
4 fresh garlic cloves (minced)
1/2 cup parmesan cheese (grated)
Preparation

1.\tPut water for pasta on high-heat.
2.\tIn large pot cook Kielbasa in Olive oil on medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.
3.\tAdd onion and garlic, cook on medium-high for another 3-5 minutes.
4.\tAdd in the peppers, parsley, oregano, and cayenne pepper and lower heat to medium-low.
5.\t Pasta water should be boiling now. Put pasta in water.
6.\tCook peppers until tender. Cook pasta al dente.
7.\tStrain and toss in cooked pasta; add grated cheese and toss well.
Refrigerate leftovers; this meal is even better the next day!
Adjust amounts of meat, veggies to your taste.
