Harry Gormley'S Sour Cream Noodle Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups uncooked pasta (elbow or something similar)
    1 lb lean ground beef
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/8 teaspoon pepper
    1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
    1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
    1/4 cup sliced green onion
    1 cup sour cream
    1 cup small curd cottage cheese
    1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cook pasta according to package directions.
    Brown beef, drain off fat.
    Add seasonings and tomato sauce; simmer for 5 minutes.
    Combine green onions, sour cream, cottage cheese and pasta.
    Place alternating layers of pasta mixture and meat mixture in a 2-quart casserole dish; starting with pasta and ending with meat mixture.
    Top with cheddar cheese.
    Bake uncovered at 350\u00b0F for 20 to 25 minutes or until bubbling around the edges.
