German Sauerkraut Hot Dish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 cup uncooked rice
1 (16 ounce) can tomato sauce
2 cups water
1 (16 ounce) can sauerkraut, undrained
1/2 teaspoon caraway seed
1/2 teaspoon pepper
3/4 teaspoon salt
Preparation

In a large pot, brown beef with onion.
Drain fat.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low.
Cover and simmer apx. 25 minutes, or until rice is tender.
