Basic Stir-Fry Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 cups chicken broth or 2 1/2 cups vegetable broth
    1/2 cup cornstarch
    1/2 cup soy sauce
    1/2 cup light corn syrup
    1/2 cup dry sherry or 1/2 cup white wine
    1/4 cup cider vinegar
    2 cloves minced garlic
    2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
    1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper or 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Preparation
    Combine all of the ingredients in a 1 1/2 quart mason jar with a tight fitting lid.
    Shake well and store in the fridge.
