Old Fashioned Pineapple Filling And Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup butter
    5 ounces evaporated milk (1 small can)
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    3 egg yolks
    1 (16 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
Preparation
    In a heavy saucepan, melt butter.
    Add sugar and evaporated milk to melted butter and stir.
    Stir in egg yolks and cook over medium heat until mixture thickens-- about 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat and stir in drained pineapple.
    Pour over warm cake.
