Apple Butterscotch Bread - cooking recipe

2 cups biscuit mix
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup raisins (optional)
1/2 cup nuts, chopped
1/3 cup milk
1 tablespoon orange juice
1 cup quick oats
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butterscotch chips
1 egg
1 cup applesauce
Preparation

Stir together biscuit mix, oats, sugar, salt and baking powder. Add butterscotch pieces, raisins, and cuts. Combine egg and milk; stir.
Add applesauce; beat mixture vigorously by hand for 30 seconds.
Spoon into large greased and floured loaf pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0F for 50 to 60 minutes. Cool before slicing.
