Autumn Poached Pears - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tablespoons butter
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
    2 large Bosc pears, quartered and sliced 1/4-inch thick
    2 tablespoons sweetened dried cranberries
    2 tablespoons pepitas (shelled green pumpkin seeds)
    2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Melt butter in the microwave for 30 seconds. Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Arrange pear slices on a microwave-safe baking dish. Pour butter mixture over pears, cover, and microwave until tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in cranberries, pepitas, and walnuts.
