Deep-Fried Lasagna Pieces - cooking recipe

1 pound ground beef
1 pound ground Italian sausage
1 (8 ounce) package manicotti shells
1 (24 ounce) carton cottage cheese, drained
2 (16 ounce) jars pizza sauce, divided
1 (8 ounce) package shredded mozzarella cheese
vegetable oil for frying
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
3 eggs
2 cups bread crumbs

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add beef and Italian sausage; cook and stir until browned, about 8 minutes. Drain excess grease. Let cool slightly.\n Watch Now
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook manicotti shells in the boiling water, stirring occasionally until tender yet firm to the bite, about 7 minutes. Drain.\n Watch Now
