Slow Cooker Italian Beef Sandwiches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 pound) rump roast
    3 cups water
    2 tablespoons dried basil
    1 tablespoon dried oregano
    1 tablespoon salt
    1 tablespoon garlic powder
    1 tablespoon parsley flakes
    3 bay leaves
    1 1/2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
    1/3 teaspoon ground black pepper, or to taste
Preparation
    Combine roast, water, basil, oregano, salt, garlic powder, parsley flakes, bay leaves, red pepper flakes, and black pepper together in a slow cooker.
    Cook in the slow cooker set to Low for 8 to 10 hours. Remove bay leaves and shred meat using two forks.
