Sledzie W Jogurcie (Herring In Yogurt Dressing) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 pickled herring fillets
    1 1/4 cups plain low-fat yogurt
    1 onion, chopped
    1 pickled cucumber, diced
    1 tablespoon prepared yellow mustard
    ground black pepper to taste
    1 pinch white sugar, or to taste
Preparation
    Cut herring fillets into small pieces and place in a bowl. Add yogurt, onion, pickled cucumber, mustard, black pepper, and sugar; mix well to combine.
    Cover with plastic wrap and chill before serving so the flavors can develop, at least 3 hours.
