Cilantro Lime Coleslaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 ounce) bag coleslaw mix
    1/2 cup coarsely chopped cilantro
    1/4 cup olive oil
    3 tablespoons lime juice
    2 tablespoons ground cumin
    1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
    1 tablespoon garlic powder
    1 teaspoon salt
    freshly ground black pepper to taste
    1/4 cup sliced almonds, or to taste (optional)
Preparation
    Combine coleslaw mix and cilantro in a serving bowl.
    Whisk olive oil, lime juice, cumin, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper together in a separate bowl until the oil emulsifies; pour over the coleslaw mixture.
    Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate 1 to 2 hours. Garnish with sliced almonds to serve.
