Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. milk, scalded
1 (9-inch) pastry
nutmeg
Preparation

Blend first 4 ingredients.
Gradually stir in scalded milk after it has cooled.
Pour into pastry shell.
Sprinkle with nutmeg.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool on rack.
Chill.
