Caramel Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. thinly sliced Jonathan apples
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
25 caramels
3 Tbsp. milk
1 deep dish pie crust
1/2 c. chopped nuts
whip cream
Preparation

Preheat oven and baking sheet to 400\u00b0.
In a medium bowl, combine apples, sugar and flour.
Set aside.
In a double boiler or in microwave, melt caramels with milk, stirring frequently. Add apple mixture.
Spoon into pie crust and top with nuts.
Bake 25 minutes.
Allow to cool 1 hour.
Serve warm or cold.
Garnish with whip cream.
